PROGRAMS

WCCOL has provided funding for over 800 free preventive mammograms through Winneshiek Medical Center and Gundersen-Decorah Clinic.

Screenings are provided throughout the year.

Once your application is received the clinic will advise of your screening date.

Applications are accepted year round.

Gasoline/Grocery grants for the Journey to Recovery

Our program helps area women and men with cancer by providing gasoline grants. Each nominee will receive $300 in gas cards & $100 in grocery cards.

The nominee must be

in active treatment for any form of cancer
either a resident or their family doctor is in Winneshiek County Clinic or Hospital.

Nominations are accepted year round, and grants are awarded monthly. You can nominate yourself, a family member or a friend.
